Shinobi GO

❶ the vision.

Just GO.

To bring the Atomos Shinobi GO into the world of the filmmakers it was made for; drawing on our own beginnings with the original Shinobi, we developed a spec film about the creative journey: learning through doing, adapting along the way and finding stories in everyday life. The monitor would sit naturally within that journey, supporting the filmmaker as their ideas took shape.

DIRECTION

❷ the outcome.

The collaboration.

We partnered with Aquila Productions for their experience and deep knowledge of chase cars and aerial rigs. Their drone work brought another perspective to the film, helping us build a sense of scale and movement around a product designed to go wherever a shoot takes it.

Rather than make a traditional product demo, we wanted the film to feel like the start of a filmmaker’s journey: curious, energetic and full of possibility. Vera Tan gave that story its voice, bringing warmth and personality to the narration alongside a natural, engaging on-screen performance.

(The solution)

We partnered with Nectar Café to rebuild their brand from the ground up and lift their visibility online and off. Our approach comprised:

Brand Strategy & Identity
  • Conducted a workshop to define the cafe’s personality, audience, and unique value (community, comfort, craft).
  • Developed visual and verbal identity: refreshed logo, colour palette, typography, brand voice.
Creative Design & Collateral
  • Redesigned in-store signage, menus, packaging, and takeaway materials to reflect the new identity.
  • Created a library of high-quality assets: hero photography, lifestyle imagery, stylised typography for social.
Digital Marketing & Social Strategy
  • Launched a content calendar covering Instagram and Facebook: weekly posts, stories, promotions to engage local audience.
  • Ran targeted local-area ads to bring new visitors: “Come discover us” offers with limited-time specials.
  • Implemented simple analytics tracking: foot-traffic uplift, engagement rates, new-follower growth.
