❶ the vision.
A whole lot of Smotions.
For its March campaign, Factorie wanted a collection of photography and motion assets that could carry the campaign across print and digital. Factorie's Creative Director was keen to explore Smotions (he coined the term): a format that brings movement and still photography together in one distinctive visual.
As the talent moved through each scene, a flash would capture them in a sudden freeze. That moment of stillness gave the campaign its own visual rhythm, while letting the movement and personality of the talent come through.

The approach.
The campaign had a tight turnaround from the outset. Across that schedule, the team needed to bring the stills and motion work together as one cohesive campaign, while preparing each asset for its intended format.
Alongside the motion work, we captured a full set of campaign stills for Factorie’s print and digital use. Each Smotion builds towards the flash: the talent moves through the scene, then holds in a sharp, photographic freeze. The result keeps the spontaneity of movement while giving each piece the impact of a still.
We created two hero Smotions and ten vertical Smotions, alongside the campaign photography. Together, the stills and motion assets gave Factorie a cohesive set of content for its March campaign.

❷ the outcome.
Everyday streetwear, caught in motion.
The final handover brought the campaign together across photography and motion: a collection of retouched stills, two hero Smotions and ten vertical Smotions. The still images gave Factorie strong campaign visuals for print, while the motion assets carried the same creative direction into video and social formats.
The Smotions gave the campaign a recognisable visual thread. Each one built towards the same striking moment: talent in motion, a flash, then a freeze. Across the hero pieces and vertical edits, that repeated gesture connected the different assets while giving each format room to work in its own way.
With the photo and motion assets delivered as one cohesive suite, Factorie had a broad set of campaign content ready for its March rollout. The team’s response was a fitting close to the project: they told us they were “stoked” with how it came together and that the work looked incredible.
